This year's SABRE-TP meeting will take place on November 19, 2026 from 9:00-13:00 at the Aula in Posieux.
What lies between an animal's DNA and the traits we can observe? Omics technologies offer a way to look inside this biological "black box" by measuring, for example, which genes are active, which proteins are produced, or which metabolites are present. At this year's SABRE-TP meeting, we will explore how these molecular data can complement genomic information and help us better understand complex traits in livestock. We will also discuss how such information might contribute to more accurate genomic prediction and, ultimately, to better-informed breeding decisions
